EXPERIENCE THE DOLOMITES

Imposing rock formations, gentle mountain meadows, unique flora and fauna

The approximately 250 million-year-old Dolomites, named after the French geologist Déodat de Dolomieu, are characterised by an impressive, varied landscape of rugged rocks and rolling mountain meadows. Because of their special beauty and geology, which grants an insight into the various phases of Earth's history, they were included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 2009. The La Val hiking village is an ideal base from which to explore this unique landscape, on foot, but also by mountain bike or road bike.
